DESCRIPTION

Alphaxylan SF combines excellent opacity with a dead matt finish which is water vapour permeable, washable and wet rub resistant. Its dead matt finish is scrub resistant to the standard BS EN 13300 (Class 1). With a low dirt pick-up surface, Alphaxylan SF is suitable for both domestic and commercial projects subject to high wear and high dirt exposure.

USAGE

Alphaxylan SF is applicable for, or can be applied to many substrates including plaster and plaster board, air-dried concrete, brickwork and blockwork together with previously coated surfaces. It may be diluted with up to 20% water depending on the application method used. As a mist coat, Alphaxylan SF may be diluted with up to 35% water and may be applied by brush, roller, conventional air-and airless spray. Dependent on the existing surface, Alphaxylan SF should be applied over a mist coat or suitable primer (such as Alpha Isoprimer, Alpha Aquafix, Alpha Primer SF). After a minimum drying time of 6 hours, Alphaxylan SF can be recoated as required.
