Sikkens relocation brings benefits
AkzoNobel has transferred its premium stains and specialist paints brand Sikkens to the ICI Paints facility in Slough where it has joined other premium brands in the Group, notably Dulux Trade.
Sikkens continues to receive the investment in research, marketing and distribution to build on its reputation as a premium brand amongst the trade and to ensure that it continues to provide the performance required by Specifiers in all markets from architectural to local authority, property and maintenance.
Customers are benefitting from the broad distribution channels that Dulux Trade has developed for decorators and prompt on-site deliveries for the contractor base. Both Sikkens and Dulux Trade are high performance and innovation led brands. Grouping them together has provided the synergy to create genuine benefits for our customers. For exterior work, both brands have built reputations for the long term protection they offer through using a system approach.
